My title

Every now and then I have to remind myself what's important. I get excited sometimes about things that aren't. The title is a reference to a poem by William Carlos Williams, which my three sons have heard me quote so often they know it in their sleep, too:

So much depends upon

A red wheelbarrow

Glazed with rainwater

Beside the white chickens.

I plan (in this "new" beta-blogger) to post little sanity-checks. Starting with why I view that poem as a sanity check, while in high school, when we took it up, I viewed it as unmitigable twaddle.
